AP Celebrates Artessa Mound Harbor Grand Opening with Ribbon Cutting

Artessa Mound Harbor is comprised of 52 high-end senior co-op residences with 11 unique floor plans ranging from 1,006-1,905 square feet.

Minneapolis, MN – (October 22, 2024) – Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), a national, family-owned construction management and contracting company, today announced the grand opening of Artessa Mound Harbor, a cooperative living community for people 62 years and better in Mound, Minnesota.

Located on Harbor Place overlooking Lost Lake Harbor on Lake Minnetonka, Artessa Mound Harbor includes 125,000 square feet of living and community spaces. Artessa Development, an affiliate of Lifestyle Communities, is the developer of the co-op community; AP constructed the building and installed owner finishes in partnership with Kaas Wilson Architects.

The new community is set to redefine senior living with its state-of-the-art amenities and meticulously designed living spaces. The grand opening celebration featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a tour of the new homes and community amenities and was attended by residents of the new space.

“We are thrilled to welcome residents to Artessa Mound Harbor,” said Dena Meyer, President of Lifestyle Communities, Artessa Development. “This development represents our commitment to creating exceptional living environments where our members can thrive. The collaboration with AP has been instrumental in bringing our vision to reality and we are incredibly excited about the results.”

“It has been a pleasure working alongside Lifestyle Communities to bring Artessa Mound Harbor to life,” said Blake Invie, Senior Project Manager, AP. “Our team has worked diligently to ensure every aspect of the construction meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and excellence. Seeing the community come to fruition and witnessing the joy the space brings to its new residents is truly rewarding.”

The Artessa Mound Harbor community boasts a range of amenities, including a modern fitness center, pickleball courts, lounges, a hobby and creative studio, coffee bar, and more. The project has been designed with a focus on sustainability and contemporary living, offering residents a unique blend of comfort and style.

In Artessa communities, members buy a share in the cooperative corporation, which owns the land, building, and common areas. This type of residential housing provides for steady annual growth of members’ equity at a fixed rate of return of the initial share payment. This ensures that homes remain affordable and marketable long-term.
